HEARTBREAK

Why are we so enthralled with the things we can't have? What's the allure? How is it you can be going along totally oblivious and then suddenly something you like catches your eye. You inquire nonchalantly but once you realize you can't have it, you become obsessed to make it yours? Happens over and over. You sort of like the army green jacket but as soon as you think it's gone, it suddenly takes on biblical proportions. And the weird thing is, you never really ever get over it. Years later you will say, "I should have gotten that green jacket when I had the chance!" So if you see something you love, don't hesitate. Get it.

  1. Ahhh... the "the one that got away" phenomenon. I remember a belt that I didn't buy when I was 17. Still wish I had it, 20 years later. Pathetic, and of course if I had bought it, it would be long gone by now.
